Welcome to your Dome Sweet Dome at Antietam! We offer a unique short term rental near the confluence of Antietam Creek and the Potomac River. Whether you need a place to relax after hours on the C and O Canal trail or the Appalachian Trail, or you need a quiet weekend away, we offer great views, easy trail access and more!

We're minutes from the C and O, Antietam National Battlefield and more. Appalachian Trail trailheads and other parks and adventures are nearby. Harpers Ferry National Park is a short drive (or bike ride down the C and O).

This is an S-style Quonset building. Quonsets have been used for decades by the military due to their durability and strength. This building, with an all-steel exterior, is rated to stand up to hurricane force winds and heavy snowpack.

The Dome, covering nearly 1,500 square feet, was built in 2024 and boasts a great room that encompasses living space (and working space if necessary), full kitchen and access to the back porch and stone patio. Generous window space offers a great view and tons of natural light and fresh air.

Two bedrooms, with queen beds, offer a quiet, comfortable space to sleep.  Additionally, a queen inflatable bed, a roll-out folding cot and an inflatable toddler bed are available on our options menu.

Two split climate control units, ceiling fans and bathroom baseboard heaters allow you to find just the right temperature to relax!

The full bath features a toilet, walk-in shower and double sink, while the half bath in bedroom #2 has a single sink and toilet.

The Dome features wide doors and single-level access to any mobility-impaired guests.
