Welcome your Dome Sweet Dome on the Antietam! We offer a unique short term rental near the confluence of Antietam Creek and the Potomac River. Whether you need a place to relax after hours on the C&O Canal trail or the AT, or you need a quiet weekend away, we offer great views, easy trail access and more!

We’re minutes from the C&O, Antietam National Battlefield and more. AT trailheads and other parks and adventures are nearby. Harpers Ferry National Park is a short drive (or bike ride down the C&O).

First things first: Okay, it’s not actually a dome, but technically, an S-style Quonset building. Quonsets have been used for decades by the military due to their durability and strength. This building, with an all-steel exterior, is rated to stand up to hurricane force winds and heavy snowpack.

The interior is newly constructed (2024) and boasts a comfortable great room that encompasses living space, kitchen and access to the back porch and stone patio. Generous window space offers a great view and tons of natural light.

Two bedrooms, with queen beds, offer a quiet, comfortable space to sleep or just relax.

The full bath features a toilet, walk-in shower and double sink, while the half bath in bedroom #2 has a single sink and toilet.
